The winner of our 2008 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Family-Friendly Restaurant in Pittsburgh, Johnny Rockets provides a 50's type atmosphere with chrome counters and stools, oldies music, all-white uniforms for wait staff, and mostly traditional 50's America drive-in food. This is a nostalgic stop for burgers, chili, grilled chicken sandwiches, tuna salad, and great fries. The kids' menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, peanut butter and jelly, and grilled cheese. Don't miss the great old-fashioned malts and milkshakes, and homemade apple pie. High chairs and booster seats are available. Johnny Rockets restaurants can be found on Philadelphia's South Street and inside the Franklin Mills Mall. Visit the website for a complete list of locations throughout Pennsylvania.
