The Johnson County Parks & Recreation District offers a full catalog of summer camps, including camps for preschoolers, special needs, arts camps, science camps, and sports camps. Camps are available for either full or partial day at various locations throughout the county.

The district also offers recreational programs throughout the year for all levels, interests, and ages. Some of the activities include basketball, soccer, tennis, fencing, ice skating, gymnastics, baseball, hockey, martial arts, and boxing.

Other non-sporting classes include topics in music, theater, dance, and art. Special classes for home schooled students are available.
