Joslyn Park is a 2.5 acre park with a basketball court, picnic tables, benches, and a gated playground. The park also has a bright, sunny recreation room which is available for party rental and is host to city-sponsored family programs.
tips:
The playground is a great size and layout for toddlers, but dressing in layers is a good idea, as it's up on a hill that sometimes catches surprisingly chilly sea breezes.
getting there:
The park is one block west of Lincoln Boulevard, with entrances on Kensington and Strand. There is plenty of free parking on all sides, including a small lot on 7th Street.
