Jubilate Children's Choir451

Jubilate Children's Choir is dedicated to teaching singing and celebrating high-quality choral music with children (kindergarten through sixth grade). The Choir is hosted by Immanuel Lutheran Church, but welcomes all children from the Edgewater community.

Children learn basic note reading, rhythm skills, and the mechanics of proper singing. The Choir performs high-quality sacred children's choral music, including multi-cultural songs, and incorporates instruments and drama into the singing. Director Kari Johnson has extensive experience directing children's choir and children's drama, as well as a background in singing and choral music. The goal of Jubilate Choir is to turn children on to singing - particularly the rich tradition of sacred choral music - through an educational, fun, and enriching choir experience.
