Jump with Joy music is great music class run by a woman who has lots of experience with children (including her own) and who understands how to engage kids and help them get the most out of class. I have participated in this program with all three of my children and can't say enough good things about it!

We really miss the music class with Kate. My daugther and son had such a good time. Kate is a wonderful teacher with a beautiful voice. The class was structured in a playful way. The songs are great, we always have one of the CD's in the car and my childrens always ask for the "CD from Kate".

We are 8 session veterans of Music Together, 7 with Kate. The program is wonderful, with original as well as traditional songs - many of which linger in our minds (and voices) years after introduction. What made our experience very special, though, was having Kate as a teacher. She has a knack for engaging each child in a very personal way, while gently maintaining order over all. Each class is well-prepared and fresh. One can tell that Kate really loves what she does -- and the kids really respond. Massachusetts' loss is California's gain. Don't miss it.

Both of my children attended many sessions with Kate and and both are music lovers. My youngest still points to the building as we go by and asks when her next class will be. Good Luck Kate!

...and pre-school classes for 6 years now, and Kate's music classes are the best, hands down. She engages each child, always addressing them by name, and encouraging them to participate, according to what suits their development and temperment. I wish my own music teachers had instilled such a joy of learning!! Kate is clearly the leader of the class, but takes her lead from the students and their interests and abilities. Kate's classes are always fully subscribed so I make it a point to schedule my other activities around her classes.

My youngest son and I spent 2 fabulous years with Kate and loved every minute of our time together. Kate has the unique ability to smoothly run her class, sing like an angel and make every child feel as if s/he is 1:1 with her! My nearly 4 yr old son is such an uninhibited singer, perfomer and lover of music thanks to Kate.

Kate is really wonderful. I have been bringing my sons to music with Kate for 2 years. It is such a fun class. The boys LOVE it and so do I. Of all the activities to do with youngsters- music with Kate has been the best.

My 2 children (now ages 4 and 2) have been taking music together classes with Kate Battenfeld since they were quite young. We have participated in 8 or more sessions and each have proven to be a wonderful experience for all. Kate is a fabulous teacher and so gifted musically. I have been taking my daughter to music classes since she was 8 weeks old (she is now 2.5 years). During this time we have had 5 different music teachers and Kate Battenfeld has rated among the best. My daugther loved her, her classes and her wonderful guitar playing during music class.

Music Together is a truly fun, musically rich activity. I started taking classes two years' ago, when son was 8 month's old, and we're still loving it!

This is a wonderful program, Kate does an amazing job. My daughter which will be 3 soon, have not been able to find a music class to replace her with, when she left to California.
