about Jungle Java:

Jungle Java is a cute cafe and kids' play gym, all in one. Relax with a chicken ceasar roll-up and cappuccino while your little monkeys go wild. The menu includes sandwiches, soups, salads, numerous coffee drinks, and a good variety of fruit smoothies. A kids' menu includes hot dogs, mac and cheese, pb & j sandwiches, and mini pancakes. Free wi-fi is available.

Jungle Java offers free end of the season sports parties, and offers a fundraising program for schools focusing on healthy food and play.

Infants and toddlers up to age three can romp around the Toddler Safari, while older kids go bananas in the Jungle's mazes, tunnels, and spiraling slides. A small rock climbing wall, designed to be safe but challenging, offers additional adventure potential.

getting there:

Located on the northwest corner of Canton Center Road and Hanford Road, in the strip mall behind the Family Video store. From I-275, use the Ford Road exit and head west. Turn right on Canton Center. Jungle Java is on the west side of the road, between Ford Road and Warren Road.

Great place to take the kids during the cold winter months to get physical activity. Yes, it is busy at the peak times (weekends, especially when there are birthday parties), but weekday evenings are usually not too crowded.

My 2 year old loved the toddler area, but the big kid area even better. I was able to fit into everything, so I could help her on the things more challenging for her. It's a great place to have a coffee, read the paper a bit and have your child play during the winter.

Winter months in Michigan are long and boring with nothing to do for 16-month-olds. So I found out about Jungle Java and took my kids there, and they absolutely LOVED it. They liked watching the bigger kids, and they really enjoyed climbing the toys in the toddler area. I wish there were more things in the toddler section, and I really wish there were more Jungle Javas.

Toddler Safari doesn't have much to it to entertain toddlers for very long. I took my 2 yr old to the big kid area, but he can't do much. I expected to be able to sit and dring some coffee while he played, but no way that could happen. (There is a place in my mall in my hometown where I can sit and drink while he plays safely. I think the admission price is a bit high for the big kids ($6.50)

Every time we went here my kids ended up sick, no matter how well we washed our hands or sanitized afterward. It is MOBBED after 9:00 a.m. regardless of the day of the week. As a result, it is impossible to have a decent conversation and keep a good eye on the kids. It's also not the cleanest place. (This review pertains to the Canton location. I have not been to the FH location yet.) A much, much better place is Castaway Play in Howell. Clean, large, open and bright. And the food is much better.

We've been to the Jungle Java in Canton numerous times, but today we just found out that they opened a new Jungle Java in Farmington Hills so we stopped in. It was everything we expected from a Jungle Java. My 6 year old played in the mini basketball court with my husband for 1 1/2 hours... THEY LOVED IT!!! Would highly recommend the spicy black bean wrap!

I took my 2 year old son here, we stayed for 2 1/2 hours. He would go from the toddler area and then to the big kid area. I like that the play area is big enough for adults, and my husband liked the food. We visited from Toledo and it was worth the drive.

The food was very poor and expensive. I didn't think it was clean at all, the floors were full of things my toddler could put in his mouth and choke on. The admission price is high especially if you are going there after 4PM. I will never go back nor would I reccommend it to anyone.

I HAVE A 3 YEAR OLD AND A 20 MONTH OLD, IT'S RARE MY HUSBAND AND I FIND A PLACE WHERE WE CAN SIT AND RELAX WILE OUR KIDS PLAY, NOT ONLY CAN WE SIT AND RELAX, WE CAN SEE OUR KIDS FROM WHERE EVER WE DECIDE TO SIT. THEY HAVE GREAT COFFEE, CHEAPER THEN YOUR NORMAL COFFEE SHOP, PLUS... YOU CAN CLIMB IN THE PLAY GYM WITH YOUR KIDS, IT HELPS WHEN YOUR KIDS ARE LITTLE LIKE MINE AND THEY CANT ALWAYS DO EVERYTHING THE OLDER KIDS CAN DO, YOU CAN HELP THEM ACHIEVE THOSE SMALL GOALS, I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK. GREAT EMPLOYEES TOO!!!

We went to Jungle Java for the first time. I have 3 children. They played for hours. In fact, when we left, we applied our daily admission towards a 3 month pass. It's well worth our 45-minute drive to come here!!! It's a bit of piece of mind for stay at home moms!

By far the most relaxing place I have been with my kids. It's clean, safe and the food is great! It's hard to find play areas that are geared for different age groups, but Jungle Java has it all! A must see!
