I had a rather horrible experience with this office. My son who suffers from mild cp and does not do well with strangers was treated with little regard from the Doctor. He didn't even try to get to know my son just went on grabbed his face and proceeded to shove his thumb in my son's mouth. My son signed to me that it hurt. I asked my son to open his mouth and he did at that time. I thought this was a place where you could bring a child with special needs and they would be treated with descency but I was dead wrong. I will never subject my son to such abuse and I will call it abuse. After he looked at my sons mouth he told me that he would do the surgery to take care of the issues regarding his teeth. He also went on to say" I don't want you to waste my time if he doesn't want to do the procedure and I will not be happy with you if I have to waste time if your son will not do the procedure. I am very busy and have other kids who need my time more than he. I looked at him dumbfounded. Not knowing why he was speaking to me in such a rude manner. I have insurance I pay thousands of dollars for this insurance. I did have mainecare in the past but am no longer on it. and am wondering if that is why he was so rude to me because I didn't give them my insurance cards yet so he did not know I had dental and medical insurance only that I did have mainecare at one point years earlier. makes one wonder.
