Kansas City Ballet is a professional ballet company performing in Kansas City since 1957. The company performs three mixed repertory ballets, as well as the Nutcracker during the year. Ballets are performed at several venues, including the Music Hall, Lyric Theatre, and in several city parks during the summer.

Kansas City Ballet also provides dance training through the Kansas City Ballet School and reaches more than 20,000 students and adults each year through its community education programs, including summer programs at its Johnson County Campus in Prairie Village.
