Karamu House is the nation's oldest African-American cultural arts institution. Perhaps most widely known for its theater performances, Karamu House also provides art, dance, and theater classes, as well as full time child care through two early childhood development centers.
Class subjects range from storytelling and introduction to theater to cartooning for ages four through adults.
Karamu's Childhood Development Centers care for children from six weeks through fourteen years of age, and are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:30pm.
