Anytime of day or night, Katz's serves up breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kids' menus come with crayons, and the service is very friendly. In additon to the usual favorites, kids meals include challah French toast, pot roast, spaghetti with meatballs, and knockwurst - priced reasonably.
On the main menu, breakfast plates include egg combos, pancakes, Belgian waffles, and kosher-style tacos - tortillas filled with egg, potato pancake, and grilled salami - along with fresh-baked bagels and cinnamon rolls.
Deli sandwiches are piled high with turkey, roast beef, corned beef, and pastrami, while dinner specials include steak, grilled salmon, roasted chicken, stuffed cabbage, and pasta.
Dessert is worth a special trip. The classic New York-style cheesecake is served in a generous slice, with heaps of fresh strawberries added for an extra charge. Other treats include key lime pie, a cheesecake shake, caramel fudge cheesecake, hot fudge sundaes, and oversized coconut macaroons - plain or hand-dipped in chocolate.
High chairs, booster seats, and restrooms with changing tables are available. For those with strollers, an elevator can take you up to the second floor dining room.

In a neighborhood where parking can be difficult to find, Katz's offers two free parking lots - one behind the restaurant, and one across the street.
