Spend hot Florida afternoons at Kelly Park and cool off with a ride down the free-flowing, crystal-clear stream on an inflatable raft or inner tube. Rock Springs' bubbling headwaters lead to a series of pools and lagoons that are perfect for swimming, playing, and floating.
It usually takes about 25 minutes to travel down the shallow, mile-long tubing course. Well-maintained boardwalks make it easy to head back to the headwaters for another run.
The 248-acre Kelly Park is beautifully maintained with boardwalks, natural pools, full-service concessions, camping, well-shaded picnic areas, and a playground.
On Saturdays and Sundays in the summer, the park hits capacity very quickly and generally stops admitting new guests at 10am, so be sure to get there early! The gates generally reopen between 3pm and 4pm for additional admissions. Vehicles containing more than eight people pay $5 for the first eight passengers and $1 for each additional person. Commercial vehicles have their own fee schedule.
