about Kendall Planetarium:

The Kendall Planetarium at OMSI touts itself as the largest and most advanced in the Northwest. Its 52-foot domed screen is by far the largest in the region - from San Francisco to Boise to Vancouver, British Columbia. It's built for education and entertainment. Not only can you view the cosmos up close, you can also enjoy laser light shows. Evening shows include music by popular bands like Pink Floyd and the Beastie Boys, while matinees tend to be more easy-listening. The Rose City Astronomers also host regular Star Parties - local sky buffs set up their telescopes for your viewing. Parties take place in the OMSI east parking lot and at other locations in the metro area. Shows begin at 10am Tuesday through Friday and at 11am weekends and holidays.
