Kid Country is an all-wooden playground structure that looks like a giant fort in Andrew Brown Park East. The park was built by the residents of the city and includes swings, picnic tables, and lots of shade. Restroom facilities are located near the playground and concessions are available during the summer.
The park features biking/hiking paths, a small lake pier for fishing, and a pond - don't forget the bread to feed the ducks!
