First the pros: If your toddler has a hard time sitting still for a haircut, this place works pretty well. the barber chairs are shaped like airplanes or cars and kids can watch a dvd movie while they are having their hair cut. there is also a decent sized play area to keep them occupied while they wait. We went as a walk in and had barely a 15 min wait, which was nice too. The salon sells lots of kids hair products too (although they seemed a little pricey). Next the cons: Overall the place seemed a little run down. It was clean and the toys in the play area were in good shape, but the barber chairs looked like they could use replacing, and the kids dvds were old and some had scratches. We picked a Diego DVD and it had some major scratches on it so we eventually just gave up and turned it off. The hair stylist was VERY nice and had a good rapport with my son, but in the end the hair cut was just ok; kind of crooked actually - but we didn't realize until we got home. I'm sure if I had noticed right away, she would have fixed it, but by the time we got home it wasn't worth going back. All things considered, if your child does well with haircuts, it is definitely not worth spending the extra money to go here. We spend literally half the cost and just go to a regular barber.
