I would like to congratulate Kids cut.It is a very sanitary place.My kids really enjoyed all the toys and games that thay had.i'm very gratefuull to Edith for having the patience to cut my childs hair.they really seemed to like her andwant to go back with her again.

Wow - what a pleasant surprise. Well lit, spotlessly clean, tidy, friendly, welcoming, and above all very careful (should I say professional?) stylists taking their time as though cutting an adult's hair. That being said, our younger son got a much better cut than our eldest. It was his first cut at 20 months and he was a bit upset, but Veronica did a very nice job of calming him.

Took my son there for his first haircut. We walked in got Wilma who was GREAT. He got a terrific haircut -- I've lost track of the compliments and my husband is about ready to ditch his barber and go with him next time. My son was really anxious and Wilma knew exactly how to reassure him. She was even able to use the clippers on him and I was sure he'd freak. He had a great experience. I'd definitely reserve next time to get the same stylist and one of the car chairs -- it was a great distraction for my little one. The salon itself is pretty basic, so I didn't give 5 stars, but the people are pros.

I took my 19-month-old daughter for her first haircut without an appt on a Friday AM and they took her within 15 minutes. They open at 10AM. There were plenty of toys for her to play with and videos to keep her entertained while she was waiting. There are pictures on the wall you can use to figure out what kind of cut you want and the stylists were friendly and accommodating. They even put my daughter’s cut-off hair in a little envelope afterwards since it was her first cut. $15 total. Great experience. Also, there is a coffee shop, a post office, a frame store, and an ice-cream shop all within walking distance for moms who are trying to fit in a few other errands (or treats!) along the way. Budget a few extra minutes to find parking.

I have taken my son to Kids Cuts a few times and his hair always looks great. And it holds for a long time too, so we don't go that often. The hairdresser (stylist) is very sweet and good at her job - we always ask for the young woman with black hair whose name I have forgotten right now. However, it is not open on Sundays, so keep that in mind.

I have been taking my children to Kids Cuts for the past 6 years - from my first child now to the third - and they have always been great - good cuts and friendly, smiling faces - my children look forward to getting their hair cut - there was one time when one of my dtr's hair was not quite right after a hair cut (keep in mind that toddlers do move around during cuts) and they fix it with no problem - so my comment to the mom who was not satisfied with her cut for her daughter is to speak up and let them know - I have no doubt that they would fix it - I know for myself even when going to very "fancy" stylist downtown, there have been times when my hair has not been quite right. I also would recommend being specific about what you want for your child's cut.

Kids Cuts has lots of toys for your little ones and special toy cars they can sit in while getting their haircut. Older kids can play video games. The only downside is that some of the toys are old and could use replacing.

i've gone to kid's cuts twice. the first time was with my 2.5 year old daughter, who was astoundingly calm in my lap, watching the video. i was impressed with that. the cut wasn't incredible, but they seemed to know what they were doing. the second time was with my now 3 year old girl, who was again happy with the video, but got a terrible cut, with lop-sided bangs. it wasn't a bargain, either, at $15+ tip, so i don't think i will go there again.
