I will never take my children to this salon again. I read the one bad review, but I thought the good reviews outweighed the bad. I was wrong. We set up an appointment and still had to wait for a stylist. Then when it was our turn, they forgot that we were even there. When we got to the chair, the stylist threw the apron around my daughter, not even taking the time to cover her completely. There was hair all over the floor that hadn't been swept up since the last cut. My daughter was really nervous, as she had never had her hair cut at a salon before, but the stylist didn't do anything to try to make her more comfortable. She just hacked away without saying a word. We were finished in less than 10 minutes. Her hair was not washed, or styled well at all. She has curly hair and all the stylist did, was wet it and comb it out to cut it. While combing it out, she didn't take special care to try to be careful about not pulling my daughter's hair. She didn't put any product or anything in it to keep it from going frizzy. She just put some glitter in as the very last thing.

It was not even worth going to this place for the atmosphere. Sure, there were toys to play with while waiting, but my daughter wasn't offered anything to play with while getting her hair cut. She just sat in a regular barber chair. She could have gotten a better cut and I could have saved some money by going somewhere like Supercuts. I'll save my money next time.

I took my son to get a haircut. It turned out to only be a neck cut he got because the hair stylist cut him and the haircut was ended. I never received an apology from the stylist only that she didn't cut him. I will never go back again. I got charged for the un-finished haircut and the receptionist even asked if I would like to leave a tip!!!

I took my daughter in for her second hair cut. The first time went fine and I liked her hair. I went back to the same person and she butchered my daughter's hair. I told her to barely cut the bangs and clean up the sides and not to cut the back. I'm definitely not going back. I can do a better job.

I love this place. I take my son there all the time! The person that said it was old and dingy must've been talking about someplace different cause Kids Salon is far from it.

I should've followed my gut when I walked in, however we happened to be at the mall and my son needed a haircut. The place looked old and dingy. The receptionist was cold and gave my son a mean look when he picked up a small car they had for sale.

The Kid's Hair Salon does great haircuts everytime in a kid friendly atmesophere at affordable prices!
