Our daughter has been in Kids R Kids Waterford since she was 6 weeks old and we are extremely happy with them. The teachers she had the first year were great with her and kept me up to date with all her development and day to day activities. We had a bit of a rough spot right between 1 and 1 1/2 years, but the 2yr room now is just as great as the baby room. We love her teachers and she has learned so much (colors, numbers, letters & shapes). The educational development is awesome. We can't imagine having her somewhere else. Our next child will definetely be going to Kids R Kids and I will be in peace knowing it will be safe, happy, well taken care of and loved. Great job Kids R Kids!!!

Love it! I am an educator in the area and I know that the teachers are taking good care of my little ones while my husband and I are at work. All teachers that interact with my children are pleasant and loving. My 2 year old has learned a lot more than I could have taught her at home by myself. I am always amazed at the things she has learned at "school." I can go to work each day confident that my kids are in good hands. I would highly recommend Kids R Kids to all my friends!

This is an amazing school. Our son has been enrolled here for a little over a year now. They took amazing care of him when he was three months old and they are continuing that care now that he is 14 months old! It seems like everyday he is learning something new! We couldn't ask for a better daycare for him. Its truly is an amazing center that lets my husband and I feel good about leaving him there so we can go to work.

Been here with 2 kids for a year now, from Georgia. Love the care they show - much better than the center we used in Marietta. Kids are learning so much!

This place is miles above most other centers that my wife and I looked at. The smaller centers or single home solutions did not offer the features or curriculum we wanted, and many larger centers did not seem to have the personal touch. This place is great, the teachers and workers really love their work and it shows. Highly recommend on all counts.

WoW are u kidding me! I just spoke to the owner of this place, a mother's intuition is never wrong guys, from the begining this place looked to me like a cash cow money making business, and that is exactly how the owner manages it. The teachers make up for it, but the management is terrible! Very unpersonable, very money hungry, definitely not up to the standards for which they should be @ the rate they charge for childcare.

My son has been at Kids R Kids since he was one year old. They helped him through all of his stages of development inlcuding potty training. We are thankful for having them to depend on. The staff has always been wonderful and caring.

I also have had a wonderful experience with the Waterford facility. And it amazes me that no one else seems to notice the exact same posts below two years apart, in which the child is STILL 2..?

Everyone should do what is best for their child and if you don't feel comfortable, you do what you need to do. I can say that we have been very happy there for the past year. Our son was born very early and was at risk for some developmental delays. I found that he received a lot of attention and love. We received personal updates from the teachers - phone calls if even the slightest thing felt off. When he turned a year old and other kids his age were moving to the next classroom, the teachers and staff recognized that he wasn't quite ready to make that move - and he stayed where he was until they felt he was developmentally ready. To me, that shows caring and a level of attentiveness that you might not find everywhere. If it was all about money, they would have sent him over to the next classroom when my rate dropped. But they didn't - I was charged the one year old rate...and he remained in the infant classroom until the time was right for HIM. I just feel like he has made such great strides since he started there - from being around the teachers and the other kids. He always smiles when we get there and waves good bye to his teachers and friends when we leave.

It's funny how nobody will leave their name when making a negative comment. And majority of the comments made are NOT for the Waterford location. My son has come to Kids R Kids since he was 9 weeks old. I love that there are different departments for different ages. It helps the children not have to be in the same class for longer than 6-8 months. Compared to children that have never attended daycare, my son is well ahead of others, and I conrtibute a lot of this to Kids R Kids. We highly recommend this center.

Teachers are not very connected to the children. I have a very social 2 year old and when I went to pick him up each day he was waiting at the door for me. I have started him in a new school and he NEVER wants to leave. Dont go through the hassle of even checking this place out. And yes, this is about the WATERFORD location.

We had our 2 year old in day care here for about 6 months and had an AWFUL experience!! They repetitively said her name incorrectly, she came home with cuts and scrapes and bruises which no teacher had an answer for, she was always crying when we went to pick her up, would scream when we dropped her off (even though she had previously been in daycare in another state and was thrilled with going to daycare everyday). Our final straw was when my husband went to pick her up one afternoon and they didn't know in which room she was. They sent him to 3 different rooms, and she was in none of them. They were very nonchalant about it and my husband finally found her in a different classroom entirely and no one knew she was in there. I come from a daycare background, working at one throughout highschool and college and am a nurse practitioner myself, and I would never recommend this place.

the people that work for this franchise have not a care in the world about the kids but just to make money for their business....

We removed our 10 month old from this facility in just months after enrolling him. The facility was very clean, staff was ok but we didn't feel that anyone really cared about our son. We watched him on video for a month. The staff never got on the floor to play or interact with these kids. In fact, one day I watched as my son sat at the feeding table (unattended) for 40 minutes by himself. Now, I am sure the staff could see him but were they paying attention, say, if he started choking? Another time my husband went to pick up our son and he was standing at the door screaming/crying. My husband walked in and found the one person that was working just sitting in a chair at the other end of the room. When asked what was going on she had no reply. What if he had been hurt? She couldn't see him from where she was sitting. I paid almost $200/week for nothing. No interaction at all. The kids played by themselves. We had our son in a daycare in another state and even at the age of 5 months they were sending home arts and crafts that they had done with him every month. Not one single thing at this facility. Very disappointing!!!

I enrolled my 2 1/2 year old son in the part time program, the teachers are wonderful, understanding, caring and take the time to listen to parents concerns and work with the kids on any issues.

Be aware: I signed up my son for this school and it ended up being a wrong decision. My son is 2 and had never ever bein in a daycare before. This people at this place withdrew him from the program at the 4th day because they said he was not adapting and was just crying. Hello!!!!!!! he's never being with strangers before how can he adapt so fast to a new environment? they never made an efort to make him adapt or never let me stay with my son for half an hour a day till he adapts because they said that would interfere with the teacher in the class. They were very negative in every aspect and kept 300 dollars from me for 4 days only. The directors are very rude after you sign up but before you do they are very nice. Only one teacher is nice, the rest are very rude and cold. I found a new and better place for my son, and he is adapting much better there, i can see why he didn't like this kids r kids and i'm glad i made a good decision of taking him to this new learning center. Parents, hear your kids and feel them, they have a lot to say.

My children used to attend the franchise on Alafaya Blvd. talk about an establishment that's just in it for the money. Attitudes toward the children are awful. My daughter (4)had and accident and was not allowed to change into her extra clothing, she also was told her outfit was ugly and one day that she looked like a boy. I thought we created self-esteem, not kill it at this age. I was nickled and dimed by them at every stage. Not a great place first impressions are deceiving.

Would like to hear more from parents about this school I am thinking of, I am concerned that the playground time is not well supervised and a child could be hurt. Any comments would help.

My children have been to a lot of different daycares around waterford area. The waterford location is the best one our family has found. They care about the kids and take the time to get to know you. Please note, another comment was about a daycare in metro west. This is NOT the same daycare. I recommend this location to everyone.

i took my son for the first time to a daycare. He's two. This people at kids are kids were so rude, because my son at the fourth day kept crying obviously he's never been with strangers ever and this people at the metrowest facility, were just not willing to help him adapt. They just wanted for him to be fine at the fourth day. How can you expect that at a so soon time???????? they called me at work to tell me they were not going to have him there anymore and to pick him up. I"m glad they did 'cause i found a better school for him. So, things happen for a reason. At Kids r kids also, teachers would never talk to me as a parent about my son or communicate at all, and they always gave me the feeling they are there just for a business of making money no matter what, and not really because they care if your kid eats or not, if he plays or not, if he's doing good or not. So, just an advise, find out very well about the facility and teachers and the owners before you start your kid at a place like this.

Most staff seem to really care about the kids, but the managers seem so busy trying to enroll as many kids as possible that the program gets lost in the shuffle.
