KidsQuest Children's Museum opened in 2005 inside
Factoria Mall. Interactive exhibits include
The Backyard, where kids can build blanket forts, climb and slide on oversized leaves, and put their hands into a garden tub full of surprises. Young children can investigate giant birdhouses; babies and crawlers can explore the inside of a huge basket.
In
Waterways, kids can race boats down rocky streams, splash in a series of step pools, create water paintings on oversized rocks, and make music with water chimes and water drums.
The Garage gives kids opportunities to tinker with tools, design and build inventions, make art, and play instruments as part of the KidsQuest garage band.
Birthday party packages include all-day museum admission and use of the party room for 90 minutes. Hands-on activities are available for an additional fee.
The museum offers
summer camps for ages four-11 with weeklong themes, including drama, art, and science.
