Worst hair cut my son ever had. DO NOT GO HERE! Everyone I talked to after we went there had the same awful stories of how this women chopped their kids hair. Awful awful awful just awful how bad my sons hair was. The back right side was an inch higher then the rest. There were lines across his hair from cutting it in the wrong direction. All my friends and family would look at this head and say "wow, what happened?" It really makes by blood boil that this lady is ripping people off.

Absolutely terrible! Ms. Gina is horrible. Get another gig fast woman! I would never take my kid there for a cut again, its not worth the money at all. If you ever get the cut, you will be waiting forever...

We tried this place because we were tired of the Lulu's racket. Unfortunately, the haircuts ranked with the worst we have ever had. My son looked like he cut his hair himself! My husband had to do some repair work at home with a clipper. Beware....

This is the worst place! I was rushed out (or kicked out?) because of people waiting, even though I had an appointment. The stylist did haircut in less than 5 minutes! (Literally)

Went there once. Not really a good experience. I had a wait a long time, very slow service. The cut was subpar.

Gina has been doing my son's and daughter's hair for years and I have yet to be unhappy. The one time an assistant cut my son's hair and it wasn't how Gina usually does it, we came back and Gina happily fixed it up for free. Obviously, communication is essential. My daughter is entering her "tween" years now and graduated from her ponytailed long locks to a hip layered pixie cut. Even though KCZ seems geared toward the toddling set, there was no way my girl was going to go to anyone else but Gina, even though I told her we could try some more "grownup" salons. She's so glad she did it. EVERYONE comments on her stylin' hair, even the 20-something hipster types. Needless to say, we are lifers with KCZ!

We have been going to Gina for years here in Park Slope. Love her style and ease with the kids. No big push to buy toys so we leave with just a hair cut!

I brought my two kids to Kidz Cut Zone in Brooklyn for hair cuts. Very child friendly describes the environment, the owner/haircutter, and the two assistants. The employees did everything possible to make the kids comfortable and relaxed. The cuts were good and the haircutter kindly re-trimmed the hair slightly at our request. Make an appointment to avoid waiting. Overall, I would recommend this business.

Hi this is the owner of Kidz Cut Zone. I've only recently came across your posting. Its our store policy that if your dissatified about your haircut for any particular reason, we fix it for free and give you a complimentary haircut. I was very surprised to see the review. Our staff is specially trained to be extra gentle and attentive, we have a great reputation of knowing the kids on a personal level, and giving great haircuts.

My three kids have had their hair cut here 3 times, and each time the experience has been great. The owner (also the one who cuts hair) has created a great space for kids, with fun chairs and videos to distract the kids from the business at hand. And the cuts have been great. I have one child with very straight long hair and two kids with short curly hair, and she did an excellent job on all of them.

Though I generally try to boycott places that replace Cs with Zs, the people in this place are sensitive to the kids and, in our experiences, have given our toddler fabulous cuts. The stylist that we have used is also the owner. I recommend!

WHILE THE SALON ITSELF IS CUTE AND CHILD PLEASING AND THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY, THE CUT ITSELF WAS ATROCIOUS. MY 1 1/2 YEAR OLD, WHO SAT RELATIVELY STILL FOR THE CUT CAME OUT LOOKING LIKE HIS HAIR WAS HACKED. ONE SIDE OF THE BACK WAS CUT ALMOST AN INCH SHORTER THAN THE OTHER SIDE, AND HE HAD RAZOR BURN. YOU COULD ACTUALLY SEE WHERE HIS HAIR WAS CHOPPED. THE SIDES OF HIS HEAD WERE BUZZED FROM UNDER THE HAIRLINE CAUSING A SHADOW EFFECT. THE BANGS WERE COMPLETELY UNEVEN. HIS HAIR FEELS ROUGH NOW, AND I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL HIS HAIR GROWS OUT. HIS HAIR LOOKS LIKE IT WAS CUT BY AN AMATEUR. I AM DEFINITELY GOING BACK TO KIDS CUTS IN MANHATTAN WHERE HIS FIRST HAIRCUT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
