OK, we know they're not good for us, but disclaimers aside - who doesn't love Krispy Kreme? These donuts set the standard, and if one is feeling inclined to surrender to some empty calories, it had better be for something as good as a Krispy Kreme donut.
On the up side, this large chain of dangerously delicious donut stores is hugely kid friendly, often offering promotions like free donuts for good report cards, for Halloween costumes, and sometimes just for being so darn cute. Kids are also given official hats upon request, and service always comes with a smile.
Speaking of smiles, the stores usually offer free wifi service and good coffee.
Krispy Kreme also makes some fairly radical donut birthday cakes, consisting of enormous piles of donuts arranged decoratively and covered in icing.
