Kumon Centers offer programs designed to help students from kindergarten through high school improve their skills in math, reading, and test-taking. The Kumon system relies on five basic principles for success: The right starting point (achieved by diagnostic testing), an individualized program, self-learning, repetition, and good study habits. Self-learning and repetition are key: Children are expected to work on an individual basis with customized worksheets, and to practice, practice, practice.
