About LA Connection Comedy Theatre
Parents can sign budding performers up for a Comedy Improv for Kids workshop at the LA Connection Comedy Theatre.
Kids get to learn, rehearse, and, eventually - after about six to eight weeks - perform with other aspiring comics once a week in front of a live, paying audience. Performers even get to keep 25% of the take.
Classes are offered to kids ages five to 18 on Saturdays and Sundays; the cost is $100 per month for all classes. Tickets to attend performances cost $7.
Birthday parties at LA Connection Comedy Theatre cost $350 for two hours (for up to 60 kids), and include a host, one hour in a party room (family provides the refreshments, and the host helps to serve them), then an hour of performing by four adult professionals who engage the kids in different games.

- The LA Connection Comedy has been the best $ we could spend in developing our daughter. She gets to perform, think on her feet and learn its ok to be herself. She LOVES being a part of this group and we love watching her develop her talent. It is worth the weekly drive from Las Vegas. If your kids are in the entertainment industry or not this is a great way to build their confidence.

[Submitted by tracy1/25/09 - My kids and I have gone to several kids and teen shows and loved them all. We bring friends from out of town and everyone raves about how funny the kids are. We even had my daughters 6th birthday party and now all her friends want their birthday there too. My son loved it so much he wants to join the teen group.
