The Fairplex in Pomona hosts some 300 events each year, but it's best known for hosting the Los Angeles County Fair every September - one of the largest events of its kind in the country, and a yearly reminder that one of LA's largest industries remains agriculture.
The rest of the year features horse racing, hotrod racing, dog shows, horse shows, computer shows, auto shows - you name it. Check our events calendar for more information.
The complex includes over 12 acres of carnival grounds, lots of
picnic areas and food concessions, and a wonderful
miniature train and historic trolley exhibit. Car lovers will want to check out the
National Hot Rod Association Motorsports Museum.
Bathrooms can be crowded, but they're adequate. Some have changing areas.
Parking lots cost $5-$15, depending on the event. The
Orange lot at the nearby Sheraton Suites costs more, but is closer to the action.
