The La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club is an exclusive private club situated on a quarter-mile of oceanfront property at the southernmost end of La Jolla Shores. A tropical lagoon on an abbreviated golf course studded with towering palms guards its entrance.
Other amenities include 12 championship tennis courts, a tiled swimming pool, and an indoor/outdoor restaurant. During the summer months, the Club has extensive Kids' Club activities. Junior golf and tennis programs are offered all year.
The club has 55 suites available for vacationers. All suites include master bedroom and bath, living room, and full kitchen. Designed to accommodate 3 or more persons, the one and two-bedroom apartment-like accommodations are popular with families. Inside, the rooms are nothing special, but the proximity to the beach and guest privileges compensate.

From I-5 South, exit west on La Jolla Village Drive. Follow to third traffic light and turn left on Torrey Pines Road. Proceed to fifth traffic light and turn right on La Jolla Shores Drive. Follow one block to Paseo Dorado, turn left, and follow to property entrance. From I-5 North, exit west on La Jolla Parkway. Follow to third traffic light and turn right on La Jolla Shores Drive. Follow one block to Paseo Dorado, turn left, and follow to property entrance.
