La Villita was originally San Antonio's first neighborhood, dating back to the early 1800s. The "little village" is now home to shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Stores such as Mustang Gray's and Lone Star Mercantile carry kids' Western wear and cowboy/cowgirl boots.
