Lake Hodges is home to the Lake Hodges Aquatic Center. Visitors to Lake Hodges can enjoy a myriad of watersports including windsurfing, paddlesports, kayaking, and canoeing. As part of the extensive San Dieguito River Park hiking and biking trails abound around the lake.
The Lake Hodges Aquatic Center offers classes for adults and children and has a great summer camp program that includes not only watersports but mountain biking as well.
Fishing is exceedingly popular here. A valid fishing license is required and may be purchased at the full service bait and tackle concession shop.

The unique topography around the dam makes this area a favorite for windsurfers as the wind really blows here. Never windsurfed but always wanted to try? Sign up for lessons at the Aquatic Center!
getting there:
From I-15, exit on Via Rancho Parkway and head west. Turn south on Lake Drive; the main entrance is about one mile further.
