Nokomis Community Center has a number of rooms available for rent for private parties, as well as a kitchen, and
a gym and craft and activity rooms where reasonably-priced park programs for children and adults are offered year-round.
At
Nokomis Naturescape Gardens, on the northeast shore of the lake at Woodlawn Boulevard, visitors can learn about native wildflowers and grasses.
