Layton Commons Park is a 47-acre city park that offers picnic pavilions, bbq grills, a playground, restrooms, open grassy areas, plenty of shade, a duck pond, an amphitheater, and a museum (the
Heritage Museum of Layton). Although many families come to feed the ducks, bear in mind that some of the geese and gulls can be aggressive (watch the fingers!). Also, moldy bread isn't good for the birds, so only feed the birds bread that is fit for human consumption.
The pavilions can be reserved for private functions. Call for visit the website for pricing and details.
The park's
Kenley Amphitheater attracts fun and recognizable talent from across the country throughout the summer months.
