The Lee District RECenter has a heated, indoor 50-meter by 25-yard pool, a super slide, three diving boards, a spa, spectator seating, locker rooms, a family changing room, saunas, and an outdoor sun deck and grassed sunbathing area. The super slide and the diving boards are only open on weekends (based on lifeguard availability). All participants must pass an ability test proving they can swim 25 yards in deep water before being allowed to use the slide or diving boards. The gymnasium includes one regulation size basketball court (convertible to two half courts, or two volleyball courts); a three-lane, 1/10 mile running track; a fitness center featuring a wide selection of cardiovascular equipment, free-weights, and a stretching area; racquetball/wallyball courts; two mirrored dance rooms, three multi-purpose rooms; a mezzanine; and a preschool (a half-day program for children ages two and a half through four). The surrounding 193-acre park has one soccer field with two overlay T-Ball fields, two football fields with two overlay softball fields, four basketball courts, an amphitheater, four picnic areas (one sheltered), horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball court, a playground and tot lot, four lighted tennis courts, a tennis practice wall, walking trails, and a carousel. Classes and summer camps are offered in swimming, dance, fine arts, martial arts, basketball, gymnastics, tennis, volleyball, and more.
