Time was, the idea of trekking to
Port Authority would elicit feelings of dread. But like the rest of Manhattan, the area around PA has cleaned up its act, and this neighborhood
bowling alley mainstay seems brighter, too.
There are
bumper lanes for your younger bowlers and bumperless ones for those feeling brave (and able to withstand the pain of landing in the gutter).

kids from ages five to 13 (although older ones won't want you tagging along, they might let you set it up).
Cost starts at $25 per child, with a minimum of five kids, for two hours in the alley (one hour of bowling). Various other packages are available.
