LensCrafters offers a large variety of stylish lenses designed specifically for children. Available in all sizes, from infants to teens, the frames are fun, modern, and easy for kids to wear. Designer lenses available include Austin & James, Bugle Boy, Kidstuff, LC Basics Collection, and Minimize. Lenses used are FeatherWates Plus, which are designed for comfort and safety. The lenses are thinner, lighter, and up to twice more scratch-resistant than traditional plastic lenses. They come with built-in UV protection, and are the most impact-resistant lenses available, so you can feel confident that your childs' eyes are being adequately protected. Other features include spring hinges, which prevent the need for frequent adjustments and keep the glasses in place. A lower bridge fits a smaller child's nose and prevents glasses from sliding down. The Children's Package includes any prescription for $75; the frames, which run between $60-100, and an eye exam from EyeExam2000 (located within the LensCrafters store) for $49.50. Dialation is not included in the price of the exam.
