Litzas Pizza in Salt Lake City, UT 84102

Litzas Pizza is a local pizza joint that has been a favorite for Utah families since its opening in 1965. It could have something to do with the fact that it was founded by Don Hale, who also founded another popular family dining establishment, Hires Big H, or maybe its just the fact that the pizza is really quite good. No fancy things on the menu; just a couple of pasta options, meatballs, garlic bread, pizzas with classic toppings, and salads with homemade dressings. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. We were especially impressed with the pizza sauce - light and not too sweet. The service was fast and friendly, and we left knowing that we'd definitely be back.

Booth seating and table seating are available for dine-in customers. Customers can also choose carry-out or Take-N-Bake. The restaurant's homemade salad dressings, spaghetti sauce, and garlic butter can be purchased in one-pint containers.
