Visitors can take a trip back in time to the mid-1800s at the Log Cabin Village, a living museum dedicated to the preservation of the history of Texas. The exhibits include a water-powered gristmill, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop, an herb garden, and several log home settings. Costumed interpreters demonstrate crafts and relate the history of the cabins and the Texas frontier to visitors.
The Village also offers a series of one- and two-day summer camps.
