The Lone Star Flight Museum is a volunteer museum dedicated to the men and women who developed aviation into the science it is today and to the memory and spirit of those who flew in defense of our country. The Lone Star Flight Museum is home to many world-class and award-winning aircraft. Its collection contains many aircraft from the era just before, during, and after World War II. Almost all of these aircraft are still flight-worthy, and visitors can even take a ride in the historic B-17 Flying Fortress, B-25 Mitchell, AT-6 Texan, and the PT-17 Stearman. Call or visit the website for flight schedules.
The Museum is also home to the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame, which honors Texans who have made outstanding contributions to the development, growth, or preservation of aviation.
