Horse lovers agree: the Los Angeles Equestrian Center is the premier equine facility of its kind in Southern California.

The multi-use facility has everything the discerning horse owner and event organizer could ask for, including boarding, training, lessons, horse shows, rental horses, shopping, a saddlery, and equestrian gifts.

Birthday parties include real, live party animals - horses! - and are offered on Sundays from 3pm-5pm. Parties include festive decorations, a riding lesson and a horsemanship lesson.

The Kids Horse Camp, open to children ages six to 12 during the summer and over school vacation breaks, teaches kids about the wonderful world of horses through horse-related games and activities, both on the ground and while mounted.

Most shows are free to attend as spectators - a real treat for kids going through a horse phase - and there is some sort of show going on almost every weekend.
