Lou Stratten, who started singing before she was speaking, has performed at over 600 children's parties throughout Southern California. She is the author of the children's book, Hello, I'm Sir Frettirick!, and is also known for her eponymous award-winning CD, and a local television program, The Fretti and Lou Show.
Birthday parties begin with a short puppet show. Music time with maracas, rain sticks, drums, puppets, pompoms or scarves, and parachute rides follow, and parties end with singing around the cake. Other options include face painting, art projects, princess parties, car washing parties (summer only), play dough parties, and more.
Lou also teaches private music classes for babies and toddlers One-hour parties (with CD - kids can get to know Lou's voice and some of her songs before the party starts!) begin at $265. Travel fees ($25-$50) apply outside of the Westside area.
