Lulu's Cuts and Toys, winner of our 2008 and 2009 Parents' Picks quest to find the Best Haircut for Little Kids and Big Kids in Brooklyn, is a kids' hair salon and toy store that also offers cuts for moms and dads.

Glamour Girl Parties provide 10 young ladies (ages five to nine) with "makeovers" - hair done in up/do's with curls and glitter, mini-manicures, and more. Age appropriate arts & crafts activities and music are included as well as pizza, snacks, and juice boxes. After the two-hour extravaganza, everyone leaves with balloons and a personal Polaroid. And Lulu's takes care of cleaning up. Parents are responsible for the birthday cake and goody bags.

The shop's toy selection includes brands such as Brio, Plan Toys, Hello Kitty, Scientific Explorer Kits, Wild Planet, Lego, Pixel Blocks, Radio Flyer, as well as assorted arts & crafts supplies.

Lulu's is less crowded on weekdays. Still, it's always best to make an appointment.

LuLu's is truly a fantastic place. Our stylist was patient and listened to our request to leave my sons hair long. He sat in the fire truck watching Elmo and didn't even realize anything happened. We left with a balloon and a 1st haircut certificate. They really know what their doing! Lulu Rocks, we will be returning. Also, They have the Best Selection of Toys!

LuLu's cuts and toys is an awesome place! I've been to copycats and the can't stand up to LuLu's- experienced stylist and knowledgeable sales staff. They are the best in Brooklyn! The owner is also very smart, she just opened a beautiful Kids Resale Store! Both stores are neat, clean and beautifully displayed. They are 2x winner 2008 and 2009 Best Kids Hair Salon! Prices are competitive!

Very dirty place. I took my son here after reading all the great reviews. I have no idea what the hype is all about. The place is dirty, with years of hair stuck in the fire engine, the hairstylists, were not friendly at all, and of course it was overpriced which I was already expecting...

I love this place. Cheerful place with great haircuts, and great staff. 2 days later my daughter is begging to go back. They are also opening a kids resale store. Can't wait for that!

I finally took my son for his first haircut at LuLu's and it was awesome. The stylist was gentle and did exactly what I wanted. The toy store is full of thoughtfully chosen toys. I would have to say the best toy store in Brooklyn! They also have a Thomas the train table for kids to play with. We left with a beautiful haircut, !st Haircut Certificate and lock of hair, a balloon and lollipop!

We go to Lulus every couple of months to the same great person, Jennifer! Ask for her, but they are all great. The kids pick their own video to watch, get to sit in a fire engine and ring a bell and usually get a small toy after since it's also a toy store! I even wear a baseball cap they gave me once. Go Lulus!

I am so happy I took my son to Lulu's Cuts and Toys! I was so worried about him not staying still during the haricut, but he was great! The fact that the place is a toy store is a plus on it's own. He sat in the car chair, with toys in his hands, and watched Diego all while getting his 1st haircut. He was having so much fun that he didn't even realize that he was getting his hair cut. The environment is so child friendly, the hairstylest, Margaret, did a great job, and they even gave me a baloon & Certificate for my son and a lock of his hair. I would deffinitely recommend this place to anyone, and I plan on going to Lulu's Cuts and Toys for my son's next haircut!

We take our 3 year old Ryan there and he loves it. Before Lulu's hair cuts were a nightmare. Now he walks in and is ready. Margaret cuts his hair and he thinks she is just wonderful. The personal attention at Lulu's makes you feel very comfortable the staff is Great. Keep up the good work guys!!!!!!!!!!

we take our 3 year old twins there and they love it, they sit in a little firetruck chair, watch batman and hang out. i highly reccomend it. the toys are amazing, it's easy to spend too much!

We had our son's 1st haircut there today & the stylist (Geraldine)was so gentle & fun. She really made it a wonderful experience & the cut was so cute!!!

The selection of toys is great. Especially if you are looking for European or specialty toys. My daughter always gets her hair cut by Nelly, who is the best hairdresser there.

We work very hard to keep up our reputation as being, "The Best Toy Store in Brooklyn" and our prices are very competitive to any store in Brooklyn and much cheaper than any store in Manhattan. I hope that when a customer has any issues at LuLu's, that they will bring them straight to me. We welcome comments and suggestions.

We will definitely not be returning this store for either haircuts or toys. The toys were pretty overpriced ...I say pass.

Went to LuLus for dds haircut and we got the best haircut ever. We've been stopped on the street several times with lots of great compliments. I highly recommend LuLu's. The toy selection is the best in Brooklyn.
