The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority runs the LYNX bus system. Maps and schedules can be downloaded from the website or call 407.841.LYNX.

The website offers an Online Bus Trip Planner that lets you plan most bus trips within Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The trip planner selects the routes you need to take.

Bus routes vary widely depending on location, but most run from the very early morning hours until midnight or beyond. Be sure to check your route's schedule prior to heading to a stop.

Monthly passes start at $50 and allow unlimited use of the LYNX system. For a quick single ride, you'll need to have $2 for a standard ride and $3.50 for an express ride (and make sure you have the right amount since bus drivers usually can't make change). You can purchase passes from a large number of partners, or buy them online. Visit the website for a current listing.

Discounted fares are offered to individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, students grades K-12, and kids under six ride free with an adult.

Transfers are free, but are limited to 90 minutes. Transfers are not necessary for pass users.

The Rack 'N Roll program allows riders to load their bikes on the front of participating buses for transport to the rider's destination for no additional cost.
