Anchored by the reliable Dillard's and Nordstrom, the MacArthur Center offers plenty of family-friendly shopping, including the Children's Place, Abercrombie & Fitch, the Cuddly Hippo, Claire's, Gymboree, Stride Rite, and more.

For dining the food court has a number of respectable choices, plus some sit-down retaurants, such as California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, and Johnny Rockets. And the 3,000 square-foot, picnic-themed, indoor play area (right next to the food court) is a great place for little ones to let off some steam. There are even family restrooms - with child-sized toilets and sinks.

For entertainment, families can catch a movie at the Regal Cinemas 18 or lace on some ice skates during the brief winter season for MacArthur on Ice, the center's outdoor skating rink (open mid November through mid January).
