Macey's Food & Drug is a grocery store like any other, but the staff makes this store worth the trip. Employees are helpful, friendly, and easily found - maybe this is a product of being a local store as opposed to a huge chain. The store hosts events and cooking classes for kids each month. One thing Macey's could improve on is it's lack of organic and health foods. Other than that, consumers can find almost anything they need. The store has a bakery, deli, floral, meat, and produce departments, a photo developing area, and a pharmacy. If customers would like to request that a certain item be stocked at the store, a "want card" can be filled out at the service desk.

When visiting the store with young children, be sure to stop at the customer service desk and ask for a balloon. We make that our first order of business as soon as we get to the store, and the free balloon goes a long way keeping our children happy as we shop for our groceries.
