about Madame Tussauds Washington DC:

Madame Tussauds, the famous wax museum, gives visitors in DC a museum alternative...an interactive, full-sensory experience where they can touch, see, and hear major historical events and celebrities. So if you want that truly "hands-on" look at history, politics, and celebrity, check out the museum's four galleries, housing 50 wax figures in total.

In The Spirit of Washington DC visitors can travel through history from the Founding Fathers to modern day politics (even Marion Barry makes an appearance!) with hands-on exhibits including George Washington's inauguration, Abraham Lincoln's assassination, the Watergate scandal, and a replica of the Oval Office. Going Behind the Scenes visitors can learn some of the trade secrets used in the creation of wax figures. In the Glamour gallery, visitors can finally get up close with some of DC's most regular celebrities, including Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonce. Finally, in the Sports gallery meet Evander Holyfield, Tiger Woods, and other sports giants, plus have an "interview" with Katie Couric.
