Beware of the ticketing people inside, the try and jip you on your change, first they gave us this sad story about their credit-card machine being down, and begged for us to use cash because it was too hard to do the credit card by hand, so we told them all we had was a $50, and she said 'owhh yes I have change for that'. so we hand them the $50 dollar bill, and she hands us our tickets and change folded up, so no more then walking from the counter to the front door we realized that she only gave us a $5 dollar bill folded up, so we went back, confirmed that 2 tickets were only $10 a piece, and she said yes, and denied giving us back the wrong change!!!! WATCH THE TICKETING PEOPLE CAREFULLY! other then that.... it was ok... very very short, and if you do any o fthe boat cruises you already see the exact same stuff that you would on the railroad. there's no narration, and if you have small children i'd think about the loud noise, it could definately frighten young children.... for adults I'd say it's definately NOT worth it, nor is the museum. Children 5+ may enjoy the train ride, but you could definately find a better use of $10 to spend in Portland...
