Mama Bear's Day Care program provides care for children ages three months to three years. The program, in business over 20 years, is tailored to meet the individual educational and emotional needs of each youngster.

Activities include arts and crafts, singing, physical expression, seasonal festivities, reading, storytelling, puzzles and manipulatives, and daily excursions to the park (weather permitting).

The academic year begins in September, and runs throughout the year. Both full-week and part-week programs are available. Admission is rolling and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Admissions tests or interviews are not required.

Mama Bear is a fully licensed as a day care provider by the New York City Department of Health.
