The chain of Mamma Lucia restaurants has managed to keep it's relaxed and friendly mom and pop feel, while continuing to serve some excellent New York-style pizza and Southern Italian fare. Both the take out and dine in (and catering!) menus feature a full range of mouthwatering antipasti; salads; pasta; chicken, meat, and seafood dishes; pizza; subs; and desserts. High chairs are available at all locations, and the menu is broad enough to please even the fussiest of eaters.

Two good nights to get a hankering for Italian are Monday and Tuesday. Monday is Pasta Night, from 5pm-10pm buy one pasta entree and get another (of equal or lesser value) for $3.99. Tuesday is Pizza Night (take out only), from 3pm-10pm buy one large pizza and get another (of equal or lesser value) for $1.99.
