Sleek and modern outside, lush and tropical inside, the Mandalay Bay Resort is a favorite of families. Parents love the spacious rooms - families can book a deluxe room or a suite, which include televisions in each room and expansive bathrooms. The resort was a AAA Four Diamond Award winner for six consecutive years, between 2000 and 2006.
Bring swimsuits and be warned that the kids might never emerge from the many pools on the property. They can float lazily along a river in an inner tube, play on an expansive sand beach, or cavort in the wave or kiddie pools. When tired of water play, they'll love the nearby Mandalay Bay Shark Reef.
While not all ages can enjoy the performances at The House of Blues, children nonetheless enjoy seeing the wildly creative mosaic exterior. Teens might enjoy catching a show here too. The resort also houses the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
