This old fashioned ice cream parlor (circa 1940s) features homemade candy and ice cream.
Margie's does the classic order - a scoop or two of a favorite flavor - proud, offering hefty scoops served in fancy bowl with a tasty wafer on top.
Kid-favorites are the extra-tall and yummy root beer float or the decadent turtle sundae. If extravagance is called for, the four-scoop Eiffel Tower or the half-gallon World's Largest Sundae would do the trick!
Be forewarned that the lines - especially in warm weather - are often long, and the service is sometimes slow, but kids don't seem to mind once they dig into their sweet treat.
