MARTA is the transportation authority for Atlanta, and oversees the trains and buses. In general, buses run from 5am to 1:30am, Monday through Friday, and from 5:30am to 12:30am weekends and holidays. Customer information is available by phone at 404.848.4711. MARTA's rail system operates from approximately 5am to 1am, Monday through Friday, and from 5am to 12:30am weekends and holidays. Rail cars run approximately every 10 minutes on weekdays during rush hours, and approximately every 5 minutes from Lindbergh Center Station to the Airport Station. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, trains operate at approximately 20 minute intervals. MARTA's Visitor's Pass makes traveling around the city inexpensive and easy! At an average cost of about $12, the Visitor's Pass, which entitles the bearer to unlimited system-wide traveling, quickly pays for itself. MARTA Headquarters are adjacent to Lindbergh Center Station, open Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm. MARTA stores are located at the MARTA Headquarters, Five Points, Lenox, and Airport stations.
