about Martin Park Nature Center:

The Martin Park wildlife sanctuary and recreational area offers guided nature hikes, a hands-on museum, a browsing library, a gift shop, and various programs throughout the year.

Every Saturday during the summer, the nature center sponsors the Green Earth Gang, a free volunteer program for kids ages nine to 13. Kids work on conservation projects under the supervision of a park naturalist in Martin Park. Projects include picking up litter, maintaining trails, restoring native plants, and more.
