about Marymoor Velodrome Association:

MVA offer children's programs at Marymoor Park on the Eastside, Through the Velo Kids Program, kids ages nine to 17 are introduced to track cycling basics and track racing by experienced coaches and national/international level bicycle racers. No previous experience, other than the ability to ride a bike, is necessary. Sessions are held throughout the summer; classes meet for three weeks. Each session culminates in a competition on Friday night, under the lights at the Velodrome. The program is free. Track bicycles are provided, although riders have to bring their own helmets. Pee-Wee Pedalers (ages five to eight) play skill-building bike games and must bring their own bicycle and helmet. Kiddie Kilo bike races are held every other Friday night, where kids get to race on the track for fun.
