Masonville Cove is 70 acres of water and 54 acres of cleaned-up wetlands, nature trails, and a protected bird sanctuary. There is a public pier for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing so that kids can learn to connect with the water in a fun and safe way. Trails throughout the Cove are open for hiking and many are wheelchair accessible. The Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center (MCEEC) offers environmental programs for the community and school groups, and serves as a place to hold community meetings and a gateway to the nature trails and activities of Masonville Cove.
